Alcove begins as one of the most considered compositions in the Élevé range. Frankincense and akigalawood anchor the opening with resinous depth, lifted only enough by bergamot to keep the composition from closing in on itself. Vetiver and cashmeran are kept measured in the heart, present enough to add earthiness and softness without pulling the composition away from the woody resinous base they sit above. Labdanum and leather in the base are allowed to develop slowly, building permanence without weight.
Each fragrance oil is blended and left to mature in a dark, temperature-controlled room for two weeks. This resting period allows the resinous top to settle fully into the floral and earthy heart, and the heart into the labdanum and leather base beneath, resulting in a composition that feels seamless, complex, and consistent over time.
Once matured, the fragrance is carefully mixed with the Élevé Ambient base and hand poured into the glass vessel. Each diffuser is sealed by hand and inspected before finishing.
Diffusion is achieved using jumbo-sized natural rattan reeds, responsibly sourced from Vietnam. Selected for their porous structure and durability, the reeds measure 30cm in height and 5mm in diameter. Finished in black for a quiet visual presence. The 100ml diffuser is paired with 8 reeds. The 200ml diffuser is paired with 8 reeds.

Spray into the air or lightly onto soft furnishings, cushions, curtains, linen, upholstery. Hold the bottle 20 to 30cm from the surface and allow the fragrance to settle naturally.
For a more intimate atmosphere, mist lightly throughout the room before guests arrive or before settling in for the evening.
Avoid spraying directly onto polished, painted, or delicate surfaces. Patch test on light-coloured fabrics before wider use.
