Devour begins with a custom 3D-printed master, developed in-house by Élevé and shared with our ceramic partner to ensure every vessel is produced to exact specification. Each matte ceramic vessel in Noir is cast from this master, resulting in a form that is consistent, considered, and built to last beyond the life of the candle itself.

Once the vessel is complete, the candle takes form.

Devour is poured using a coconut and apricot wax blend at a 10% fragrance concentration. The composition is built from two concentrates combined in precise proportion. A whiskey accord brings the boozy, gourmand opening: liqueur, dark chocolate, cedarwood, vetiver, and the raw intensity of peat and smoke. A leather and oudh concentrate adds a second layer underneath, smoky and resinous, grounding the composition with warm woods, amber, and musk. Together they create something that feels immediate on the open and deeply settled in the dry down.

Each candle is cured for 14 days, allowing the wax and fragrance to fully bind. This supports a steady, even burn and a slow release designed to fill the room gradually rather than announce itself all at once.

The finished candle is housed in a matte ceramic vessel intended to remain part of your space long after the final burn. When the candle reaches its end, the vessel may be returned through the Élevé Continuum program to be cleaned, refilled, and prepared for its next life.

Care & Use

Preparing Your Space Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Use a tray or coaster to protect delicate materials such as wood or stone. Keep away from flammable objects. Always keep out of reach of children and pets.

First Burn Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface during the first burn. This may take up to four hours. A full melt pool on the first burn prevents tunnelling and supports an even burn over time.

While Burning Do not burn for longer than four hours at a time. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Do not move the candle while burning or while the wax is hot. Keep away from drafts and airflow.

After Each Use Extinguish gently. A snuffer is recommended to avoid wax splatter. Allow the wax to cool completely before handling. Trim the wick to 3–5mm before relighting to maintain a clean, steady flame.

When to Stop Discontinue use when approximately 5mm of wax remains or when the wick base becomes visible.

Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Fragrance & Allergens This product contains naturally occurring fragrance allergens including Linalool, Limonene, Citronellol, Geraniol, and Benzyl Benzoate. If you have known fragrance sensitivities or respiratory conditions, use in a well-ventilated space and discontinue if irritation occurs.

Pet & Child Safety Keep lit candles out of reach at all times. Extinguish if pets show any signs of sensitivity. Never leave burning unattended.

Story

For moments when everything else feels too loud.

Bergamot lifts the air first, clean and brief, the last fragment of light before evening settles in. Liqueur follows, boozy and full-bodied, like a glass already waiting. Dark chocolate moves beneath it, slow and restrained, deepening the atmosphere without tipping it into sweetness.

The heart settles gradually. Whiskey and leather meet in the same breath, neither competing, each intensifying the other. Cedarwood and vetiver draw structure underneath, dry and grounded. Oudh rises through the centre quietly, resinous and assured, present without effort.

The base arrives low and unforced. Smoke and peat rest in the room rather than move through it. Amber softens the edges without dissolving them. Sandalwood holds everything in place. Vanilla stays close to skin, warm rather than sweet, binding the composition without drawing attention to itself.

Devour belongs to the hours that extend beyond intention. After the last pour. After conversation slows into silence that feels intentional rather than empty.
