Still Catching Our Breath.

Aweek since launch. And I can finally say it out loud.

The first hour was brutal.

No orders. Just silence. The kind of silence that makes your stomach drop because suddenly every fear you have ever had starts speaking at once. I genuinely thought I had failed. That I had flown too close to the sun. That this was too much to believe in.

Theron was steady through all of it. The kind of steady that keeps you standing when you feel like you are about to fold. Bless his heart.

And then, exactly one hour in, the first order came through.

It was not just an order. It bypassed loopholes I did not even know were there, a reminder that no launch is ever as ready as you think it is. That first order needed delivery all the way to Arusha. I went into my own pocket without hesitation. Because in that moment it was not about profit. It was about integrity. About showing up fully, even when it would have been easier to panic.

And after that, the orders started coming in.

Slowly at first. Then steadily. Then enough to make me stop and stare at the screen in disbelief.

Where it all Begun. All i wanted was a Fragrance for my wedding…

By Saturday morning I had made what I used to make in an entire month. As a Director.

I need to sit with that sentence for a moment because I am still not sure I fully believe it.

I will be honest. I had watched too many glamourised launches online. The ones where people sell out in two minutes. Five minutes. The ones that make it look effortless. Somewhere along the way I let myself believe that was the only definition of success. And in that first silent hour, I measured myself against it and felt like I was falling short.

But this week reminded me of something more true.

Élevé was never meant to be rushed. It was meant to be built. To be chosen. To be returned to.

And that last part, returned to. That is the one that has stayed with me.

“I almost talked myself out of something that was always going to work.”

Strangers who owed me nothing took the time to say they loved it. Some came back to reorder before the week was even done. A reorder. Before week one was over.

That is not a metric. That is a person saying this changed something in my home and I want more of it.

I did not fail in that first hour. I was just early.

So this is my thank you.

Thank you for taking a chance on something new.

Thank you for trusting me with your space.

Thank you for letting Élevé become part of your home.

One week later

I am still catching my breath.

And now I know.

This is not a moment.

It is the beginning.
